Nipple piercing aftercare?

I really want to get my nipples pierced, but I only have one question really... Will my boobs have to be untouchable during the healing process? I understand that my nipples can't be touched period, but will I have to give up having my boobs played with? Will it actually irritate the piercings / increase my chances of getting an infection? Even if my nipples are not to be touched? And how painful is it?
